Wisconsin has been called the Winter Wonderland. With good reason; you have to wonder what will happen next. In recent years, the weather has been more than a little unexpected at times, leaving us to wonder. Of course, we have long used the old saying, “Don’t like the weather? Wait five minutes—it’ll change.”
“People don’t take trips, trips take people.” – John Steinbeck
The endless road in front of you, the stunning scenery on each side, wind in your hair; that’s what motorcycle road trips are all about!
January 2018 Issue
All of us at Cycle Connections Magazine want to wish you and yours a very Happy New Years!
Because of all the great feedback we received from last month’s October Covers Flashback rotation, we decided to stick with a fun theme for our November issue by rotation many of the antique cover bikes we've featured on our covers from the past several years! We hope you continue to enjoy the ride down memory lane, and also make sure to check out all of this month’s great articles!
For this month's issue, we decided to do something a little different for a change. Rather than shooting an October 2017 cover, we thought it would be fun to display a flashback of our October covers over the past 10 years; many of which are custom bikes that tie in with a Halloween-type theme (i.e. they're orange or red). We hope you enjoy the ride down memory lane! In this month's issue, also make sure to check out our coverage of the 2017 Sturgis Races and the 2017 Bikes, Blues & BBQ Rally in Fayetteville, Arkansas!
Our September 2017 cover bike is a 1925 Indian Prince, which is owned by Mark Kozak, and this month's cover model is Kate from Raytown, Missouri.
Our August 2017 cover bike is a 1958 Harley-Davidson FL Duo-Glide, which is owned by Derek Melhorn, and this month's cover model is Lulu from Topeka, Kansas.
