VCA Bringing Christmas Home 2014 - Exeter, California

Written by  February 1, 2015

On December 20, the Valley Cycle Association (VCA) held their 2014 “Bringing Christmas Home” run. Once Again, VCA worked very hard all year to make this awesome event come to fruition.

More than 60 riders showed up to help brighten 4 family’s Christmas season. This awesome event was supported by the 5 Diamonds MC, Gravediggers MC, Street Royalty MC, as well as several independent bikers.

The ride started at the Stag Saloon in Exeter, California, and the route took the elves and riders through Exeter, Visalia, and Farmersville, California. Thank you Lynn Barnett for opening up extra early, and to Shannon Livingston for the early bartending duty!

The VCA ladies (elves) finished wrapping the gifts for the kids, Santa’s sleigh (truck) was loaded up, and the bikers embarked to deliver gifts and gift certificates to the deserving families. The gift certificates were from a local market and ensured the families had a nice Christmas dinner. The look of surprise, happiness, the smiles on the kid’s faces, and tears of joy was definitely heartwarming. If that doesn’t give ya a warm, fuzzy feeling-I don’t know what will!

The after-party celebration was held at the VCA clubhouse. Everyone there was still talking about how great it was to help out deserving families during the holiday season!

VCA hopes everyone had a Merry Christmas and wishes you a joyous and prosperous New Year!
