Valley Cycle Association Annual 420 Run - Exeter, California

Written by  June 1, 2014

Valley Cycle Association (VCA) held its annual 420 run on Sat April 19, 2014, which started and ended at the 4K Bar Ranch in Exeter, California.

The 420 is a poker run with stops made at The Orange in Lindsay, California; Harleys Bar in Porterville, California; Slicks Bar in Tulare, California; and The Stag Bar in Exeter, California. The route was well planned out and made for an awesome ride.

There was a 50/50 raffle, a regular raffle with many great prizes, and a big raffle for a 40” flat screen TV and an IPod. Dinner was served at the 4K Ranch after the run, which was organized by Diane Tanner. The pulled pork was purchased at Exeter Meats, and Molly Freeman from Exeter Meats did an awesome job seasoning the pork. It was DELICIOUS! Thank You Molly! The Farmersville Jack-in-the-Box donated the salad, and Monarch Ford in Exeter, California, American Thunder in Tulare, California, Cajun Motors in Visalia, California, and Holden McIntosh in Visalia, California donated the prizes for the raffles. Thank you!

It was also brought to the motorcyclist’s attention that Mr. Scott Wilson had passed away from cancer. The donations were started by the Tulare Chapter 5 Diamonds MC. Miss Tori Skyy collected donations in excess of $1,000! Thank You Tori for your efforts to help raise money for Mr. Wilson’s family, which will be used for burial expenses.

A local blues band “Brothas from Anotha Mutha,” entertained the crowd for a few hours, which everyone loved!

As Always, THANK YOU to Mr. Dennis Kelly-owner of 4K Bar Ranch in Exeter, California, who provided an awesome setting for the bikers to relax before and after the ride. His facility is available to rent for your next event. Contact Mr. Kelly at 559-592-9130, for availability and pricing.
