The Parking Lot Slalom

Written by  September 30, 2009

EDITORS NOTE: I received the following e-mail and YouTube link from Ryan Grassley, who is one of our readers. I really liked his suggestion for working on low speed maneuvers, which you can do in any vacant parking lot. I also thought it was a great idea to video tape your run and post it as a video response to his video so you can share your experience. Enjoy!

Hi I thought your readers might be interested in something like this.

I came up with this idea after watching the Police motors competition. I wanted to work on my low speed maneuvers, but didn't have any cones, so I came up with this. I think it would be a lot of fun if some of you other riders gave it a try.

Once you have your run filmed post it as a video response to this video with the title, 'Parking Lot Slalom.' The title of your video should also include the make and model of your bike, and the time you finished in. Having all that info in the title of your video will make it easier for viewers to find what they are looking for.

Please post any questions you have in the comment section of this video. Good luck and ride safe!
