Written by  November 30, 2008

CC: Travis, what is your occupation?
Travis: I'm a painter at Ken Smith Autobody.

CC: Do you have any hobbies other than motorcycling?
Travis: Yes, I enjoy working in the garage and hanging with friends and family.

CC: Travis, why do you ride?
Travis: It’s a chance to get together with friends and enjoy the open road.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Travis: I've been riding for around five years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Travis: My first bike was a 1995 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Travis: I’ve owned four bikes.

CC: What bikes do you currently own?
Travis: Along with my 2003 Electra Glide, I also have a 2004 Fat Boy.

CC: What do you like most about your Electra Glide?
Travis: I like the fact that it's different from everybody else's.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Travis: A Harley-Davidson Road Glide. I like the look of them, and again I want to be different.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Travis: Riding from Daytona to the Keys.

CC: What is your least memorable riding experience?
Travis: When my wife took her first ride on a 2005 Sportster. She dropped it, and it wasn’t even ours yet.

CC: To what motorcycle clubs or organizations do you belong?
Travis: I belong to H.O.G. and the Patriot Guard, and I've been the H.O.G. director for the Pony Express H.O.G. Chapter in St Joseph, Missouri for several years.

CC: What motorcycle rallies & events have you attended, and which is your favorite?
Travis: The Missouri State H.O.G. Rally, the Iowa State H.O.G. Rally, Sturgis, Daytona, and the Harley-Davidson 105th Anniversary. The 105th was my favorite, seeing the people and knowing we all have one thing in common-we love to ride.

CC: Do you have a favorite bike night hangout?
Travis: Anywhere we can ride to.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Travis: Both are fine with me. Some days it’s great to be alone, and other days it’s great to have family and friends come along.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Travis: My wife, Kevin Caw, Chris Yarnell, T-Bone, Krista (RED), Andrew, and the Pony Express H.O.G. Chapter.

CC: Anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Travis: Getting involved with an organization among the bikers has been great.
