CC: What is your occupation?

Dave: IT Technical, and on evenings and weekends I'm a motorycle mechanic and Tech Tips writer for Cycle Connections Online Motorycle Magazine.

CC: Do you have any hobbies, other than riding?

Dave: I enjoy a variety of activities, including hunting, scuba diving, drag racing, trap shooting and motorcycle repair on all models.

CC: What do you enjoy most about riding?

Dave: To unplug from reality.

CC: How long have you been riding?

Dave: Around 20 years.

CC: What was your first bike?

Dave: It was a 1968 Kawasaki 250 Enduro.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?

Dave: I've owned nine bikes in my lifetime.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?

Dave: Just one.

CC: What is your current bike?

Dave: It's a 1992 Kawasaki Ninja ZX1100 C3.

CC: What do you like most about your bike?

Dave: It's a very comfortable sport bike and doesn't lack any power!

CC: What is your dream bike?

Dave: A 2004 Bourget with a 112 ci. I like them because they are very unique and I love the aluminum frame.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?

Dave: In 1986 I was being chased by 14 highway patrol in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was riding a 1982 Honda CB900F and I was able to get away without going to jail. I got far enough ahead that I was able to pull off the highway and lay it down until they all passed me.

CC: I wonder if there's a reward out for your arrest. I could use a few extra bucks about now. So, what is your least memorable riding experience?

Dave: The last ride I took on my fully restored Kawasaki GPZ 1100 before I sold it.

CC: To what motorcycle clubs do you belong?

Dave: I've belonged to the AMA since 1989 when I graduated from the American Motorcycle Institute.

CC: Which motorcycle rallies & events have you attended?

Dave: Sturgis in 1984 and 1985. I've also attended many local events like the Harley-Davidsion Plant Open House.

CC: Which is your favorite bike night location and why?

Dave: Paddy O' Quigley's in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Because of the great location, atmosphere, and girls!

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?

Dave: I like riding with no more than four riders because with too many riders if somone gets spooked they sometimes can't react fast enough.

CC: Who are some of your favorite riding buddies?

Dave: Mike Schweder, J.O. and John Munn.

CC: Just for fun, which of your riding buddies is the best rider?

Dave: I suppose it would have to be John Munn because he is a tier level dirt bike rider who participates in offroad hair scrambles.

CC: Just for fun, which of your riding buddies is the worst rider?

Dave: Nobody in my peer group.

CC: Is there anything else you'd like to share with our readers?

Dave: I just really love the sport and Cycle Connections Online Motorycle is great! Hats off to you, Mr. Editor!

CC: Thanks Dave!
