Tell us about your tattoos. “I have a total of 18 tattoos. A lot of them don’t really have a story, but the one on my left arm has a little bit of a story. I went in to ask for a dreamcatcher, and my artist isn’t into tattoos that everybody gets, so he said “No, why do you want that?” I said “I want it because it’s supposed to keep evil spirits away, and so we looked up the same thing online, and this tattoo is based on an actual photo of a real Indian dancer who dances away evil spirits; the same purpose. The rest are just random, except for the one on my left wrist, which is a diabetic ribbon because my daughter has type I diabetes.

Do you have a favorite tattoo artist? Yes. Evan Vittetoe at Catalyst Arts Collective. He’s an amazing artist with such talent. He also has a huge heart, and it shows.
