Our January 2015 cover bike is owned by Steve Witt, and his 2007 Big Inch Bike was selected as the winning bike at our Cover Bike Search on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Worth Harley-Davidson.

Steve is from Kansas City, Missouri, and we had the opportunity to gather additional information about him and his Big Inch Bike. We photographed cover model search winner Bree on Steve’s bike for this month’s cover. Also, make sure to check out the Behind the Scenes photos and video from our January 2015 cover shoot!

CC: Steve, what is your occupation?
Steve: I’m a driver.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Steve: Yes. I enjoy doing my podcast Snort of Confidence with my buddy Rogman.

CC: Why do you ride?
Steve: Why not?

CC: How long have you been riding?
Steve: I got my first bike my senior year of high school, so I guess about 25 years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Steve: My first bike was a Kawasaki Ninja.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Steve: Six.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Steve: Two.

CC: What do you like most about your cover bike?
Steve: Everything!

CC: What is your dream bike?
Steve: This bike. I’ve wanted it ever since I first saw it.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Steve: Riding the highway with the mountains to the right and the ocean to my left when I first moved to Cali.

CC: What is your favorite bike night location?
Steve: Worth Harley-Davidson, because it’s fun!

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Steve: I like both. A group is fun to get in trouble with.

CC: Thanks for the interview Steve, and thank you for letting us shoot your bike for this month’s cover.
