Our September 2012 cover bike is owned by Robert Vasquez, and his 2004 Custom Buell Streetfighter was selected as one of the winning bikes at our Cover Bike Search at the The Bar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Robert is from Stilwell, Kansas, and we had the opportunity to gather more information about him and his 2004 Custom Buell Streetfighter. We photographed cover model search winner Nicole, on his bike for this month’s cover.

CC: Robert, what is your occupation?

Robert: I’m a rear-end specialist.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?

Robert: Yes. Beer, chicks with massive asses, and beer.

CC: Why do you ride?

Robert: I don’t have a car. I can’t remember where I parked it.

CC: How long have you been riding?

Robert: Since I was 12 year old.

CC: What was your first bike?

Robert: My first bike was a 1963 Triumph Daytona 500.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?

Robert: About 10.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?

Robert: Three, and with my girlfriend’s bike, that makes four. They’re all Harley’s. All I know is they each have two wheels.

CC: What do you like most about your Streetfighter?

Robert: It’s pretty, and the fact that it’s a hardtail, and that guys my age are typically on road sofas.

CC: What is your dream bike?

Robert: A road sofa.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?

Robert: Riding with my sons and their girlfriends, but my most recent memorable experience was getting my girlfriend through motorcycle school and riding beside her for the first time. The excitement and thrill I watched her experience; I’ll never forget.

CC: What is your least memorable riding experience?

Robert: Crashes. Beer helps me forget.

CC: To what motorcycle clubs or organizations do you belong?

Robert: I LOVE PINK.

CC: Which motorcycle rallies & events have you attended, and which is your favorite?

Robert: Local events are all I have time for right now. Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Searches are always a blast.

CC: What is your favorite bike night location?

Robert: Kobi’s and Thirsty Ernie’s. You know why; see above.

CC: Do you have any tattoos?

Robert: No, but I’m working on a full body tattoo of Moe, Larry, and Curly.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?

Robert: Groups of women with massive asses. I prefer to bring up the rear.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?

Robert: My girlfriend Debbe. Her rear-end ain’t too shabby. I always bring up the rear.

CC: Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

Robert: All kidding aside, Mike, I want to take this time to say thank you to Cycle Connections. You and your staff all work tirelessly to bring lots of fun to all your events. My family and I try to never miss a local event. Despite what Obama says, “YOU DID BUILD THAT.” Wish you much continued success with your business…GOD BLESS AMERICA!

CC: Thanks for the interview Robert, and thank you for letting us shoot your bike for this month’s cover.
