Our July 2010 cover bike is owned by Cindy Kelly from Kansas City, Missouri. Cindy's 2007 Big Bear Sled ProStreet Chopper earned this month's cover by taking first place at our Cycle Connections Cover Bike Search on Thursday, May 13, at FUEL American Made Bar & Grill in Overland Park, Kansas.

During our photo shoot I asked Cindy if I could also interview her for this month's issue and she was more than happy to agree to my request.
CC: Cindy, what is your occupation?
Cindy: I’m in sales.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Cindy: Yes. In the winter I enjoy doing stained glass and snow skiing. In the warmer months I enjoy horseback riding, barrel racing and water skiing.

CC: Why do you ride?
Cindy: I prefer having my life in my own hands.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Cindy: I've been riding for about three years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Cindy: This is it.

CC: What do you like most about your bike?
Cindy: It’s long, low, and I feel like I’m built into the bike.
CC: What is your dream bike?
Cindy: This one with Jon Bon Jovi on the back.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Cindy: My first trip to Sturgis on this bike, and a two week bike trip to Sedona, Arizona taking day trips to the Grand Canyon, Prescott and Jerome.

CC: Do you have a least memorable riding experience?
Cindy: Yes. Being convinced to take the ditch around a bridge that was out on a closed road as a short cut. Not a good idea on a 300mm tire with a beginner (me) riding it.

CC: What motorcycle rallies and events have you attended, and which is your favorite?
Cindy: Sturgis and Blue Bikes and BBQ in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Sturgis in absolutely my favorite.

CC: Do you have a favorite bike night hangout?
Cindy: FUEL in Overland Park. Dreadlocks!

CC:Tell me about your tattoos.
Cindy: I have one tattoo on my lower back.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Cindy: I really enjoy riding in groups. Most of our friend ride and I love crowds.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Cindy: My husband Larry, Ginger and Doug Penninhton, Tim and Roxanne Kelly, Dean Kelly, Rusty Arn, Mike Geiger, and Scott Kesner

CC:Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
Cindy:: I want to thank Dyno Mike with Dynamic Chassis for always making time for my bike and doing such quality work. I also want to thank him for referring me to Mark Morris with Visual Imagination when I wanted a new paint job for my bike. Thanks Mark! Love the paint.

CC: Thanks for the interview Cindy, and congratulations again on winning our July 2010 cover bike search!
