This month’s cover bike is owned by Shawnee Cycle Plaza in Shawnee, Kansas, and this month’s cover model is Alana from Overland Park, Kansas. We had a blast shooting Alana on this beautiful Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero for this month’s cover!
Summer is finally here, and our first Cover Bike & Cover Model Search of the season took place on Sunday, June 10 at Russo's Pizza in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and we had an awesome turnout! Make sure to check out the article and photos in our July 2012 issue. Our next Cover Bike & Cover Model Search is scheduled for Saturday, June 23 at The Bar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, so gather up all your friends, detail your bikes, and ride on over. We also invite all the area’s beautiful women to participate in our cover model search for a chance to be one of our next cover models!
We’re also in the process of scheduling several other Cover Bike & Cover Model Search events around town, so make sure to check back often so you don’t miss out on any of these fun and exciting events!

Bike Week Oklahoma (6/14/2012-6/24/2012) - When you find yourself in need of an old fashioned Bike Run that plays 24 hours a day, you need to come on out to Sparks America during Bike Week Oklahoma! Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Search at The Bar (06/23/12) - Saturday, June 23 is the date, and The Bar is the location for one of our ever popular Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Search events! 3rd Annual Ride to Honor (6/23/12) - The 3rd Annual Ride to Honor directly benefits veterans throughout Kansas & Missouri through the Honor Flight Network of Kansas City. 2012 Thunder Run (6/30/12) - Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 30 and get ready to make some noise for this year's Thunder Run. Ride begins at Worth Harley-Davidson, and proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). 2nd Annual Parrothead Ride (07/07/12) - Proceeds will benefit Burge Bird Rescue and Beak n Wings, Inc., both non-profit parrot rescues. 1st Annual Voodoo Misfits Teddy Bear Run (07/22/12) - Mark your calendars now for the 1st Annual Voodoo Misfits Teddy Bear Run, with proceeds benefitting the Childrens Mercy Hospital. 9th Annual Kansas City Ride for Kids (7/29/12) - When you join hundreds of other motorcyclists for this scenic ride through the Kansas countryside, you'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs. 3rd Annual Outlaws for Paws Event (8/18/12) - Presented by Brookelyn's Bombshells! This event will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2012, from 2 p.m.-2 a.m., and is an animal rescue and support benefit, with all proceeds donated to local animal rescue and support. 18th Annual Mule Run (9/8/12) - The 18th Annual Mule Run is an all-day overnight open to the public event. $20 gets you in the door, along with all the food, beer, and pop you can eat and drink. Your $20 also gets you a place to park your bike or car and setup a tent.
