As you can see from the number of articles in this month’s issue (27 if you’re counting), June was a busy month for the Cycle Connections crew, and July is proving to be even more exciting! We're also in the final stages of planning this year's ride to Sturgis, which is just around the corner. We’ve even added a Countdown Timer to Sturgis 2011for your convenience!

This year's cover bike & cover model search events have been a lot of fun, and huge success, despite the weather. We’ve already held three events this year at several of the area’s best bike night locations, including Harley's & Horses Grill, Stage & Saloon in Kansas City, Missouri, Russo’s Pizza in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and The Jobsite Bar in Olathe, Kansas (will be published in our August 2011 issue). To add yet another level of excitement to this year’s events, we’ve added a videographer to our team (welcome Randall), who has been busy videotaping several of our events, such as our cover bike & cover model search at Harley’s & Horses and Russo’s Pizza.  We also have cover bike & cover model search events scheduled for Saturday, July 23 at Worth Clearance Center in Gladstone, Missouri, on Thursday, July 28 at the Brass Rail Restaurant & Sports Bar in Kansas City, Missouri, and at The Bar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, on Saturday, August 27. We’re also working with several other business owners to schedule a cover bike & cover model search at their location, so keep checking back for more details!

Also make sure to keep an eye on our Local Rallies & Events page for the KC area. More events are being added every day, so check back often.

WHAT'S NEW

Countdown Timer to Sturgis 2011 - August 8-14, 2011  -  Here's a link to the official Sturgis Rally website. We'll se ya there!

Art of the Chopper (6/24/2011 - 9/25/2011)  -  Union Station in Kansas City is hosting the Art of the Chopper exhibition; featuring a comprehensive collection of over 30 custom-built choppers, each artist’s portrait photographs with other documentary photographs and their motorcycles on display.

Cover Bike & Cover Model Search at Worth Clearance Center in Gladstone, Missouri  -  On Saturday, July 23, Worth Clearance Center will host one of our ever popular Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Search events during their Summer Bike Fest Grand Opening!

1st Annual Parrothead Ride  -  Please join us on Saturday, July 23 for an 80 mile scenic ride, with the proceeds benefitting two local parrot rescues: Burge Bird Rescue and Beak n Wings, Inc.

Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Search at the Brass Rail in Kansas City, Missouri  -  Thursday, July 28 is the date, and the Brass Rail Restaurant & Sports Bar is the location for one of our ever popular Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Search events!

Colorado & Sunshine's 4th Annual Midwest Benefit Poker Run for Autism  -  Please join us on Saturday, August 20 for our Midwest poker run to raise money to fight Autism.

Cover Bike & Cover Model Search at The Bar in Lee's Summit, Missouri  -  On Saturday, August 27, The Bar will be hosting one of our Cycle Connections Cover Bike & Cover Model Search events. We'll see you there!
