On the Cover -- 2010 Suzuki Pro Mod Drag Bike and Cover Model Arrica

The weather has finally started cooperating, and this year's rides, rallies and events are fully underway. The Cycle Connections team covered several events this past month so make sure to take a look. Our cover bike & cover model searches have been a huge success, and we've had lots of gorgeous ladies and several awesome bikes participate for a chance to be photographed for one of our upcoming covers. Our second cover bike & cover model search took place on Thursday May 13 at FUEL American Made Bar & Grill in Overland Park, Kansas and was a lot of fun. Ashley of Lenexa, Kansas was our 1st place cover model winner and Cindy Kelly's 2007 Big Bear Sled Pro Street took top honors in our cover bike search. We are shooting Ashley on Cindy's bike this month for our July 2010 cover, so make sure to check it out!

Our third cover bike & cover model search this year took place on Thursday, June 10 at Harley's & Horses Bar & Grill in Kansas City, Missouri, which was also a huge success. Brooklyn from Kansas City, Missouri took 1st place in our cover model search and Steve Bogue's 2007 Harley-Davidson Softail Custom won 1st place in our cover bike search and will be featured on our August 2010 cover. Several other bike night locations have also expressed interest in doing a cover bike & cover model search, so keep an eye on our Local Rallies & Events page for more details!

On June 18-20, the 1st Annual Grand River Summer Rally is taking place in Urich, Missouri, which is only 45 minutes south of Kansas City. This is going to be one awesome rally, featuring some of the area's best biker tribute bands such as Silver Bullet (Bob Seger), Paradise City (Guns N' Roses), Poison Overdose (Poison), Eliminator (ZZ Top), and Big Gun (AC/DC). Slacker from 101.1 The Fox will be this year's MC, and the Cycle Connections crew will be hosting the motorcycle field events, which will include a slow ride contest, weenie bike, tennis ball race, keg roll, and lots of other fun biker games. Cover models Jamie & Mandy will be there and we'll also be putting on one of our popular cover bike & cover model searches at the rally, which is sure to be a blast! There will also be lots of vendors, great food and drink, body painting, and much, much more. This is definitely a don't-miss rally, so we look forward to seeing everyone there!

4th Annual NAWS Ruff Ride Motorcycle/Hot Rod Dice Run – JUNE 19 - Join us for a 100-mile scenic ride/drive through the Northland. Proceeds will help raise money for the Northland Animal Welfare Society (NAWS) to build a much needed animal shelter for homeless animals in the Northland.
