Summer is finally here, and things are already beginning to heat up. Between all the bike nights, charity rides, rallies and events, there are plenty of activities going on to keep you in the saddle all summer long!
As you can tell by the number of articles we published in our June 2007 issue, the month of May was alive with a flurry of activities. The Easyriders/V-Twin Bike Show in Kansas City, Missouri, the Spring Thunder Beach Rally in Panama City, Florida, the Sportbike Northwest Rally in Stevenson, Washington, along with numerous other rides, rallies and events, kept the entire Cycle Connections team on our toes…and on our bikes!
The month of June is looking to be just as crazy, so make sure to check out our Bike Night Locator page, Local Rallies & Events calendar and US Rallies & Events page to stay on top of all the great rides, rallies, and events coming your way!
As you know, we rely on you to let us know about all the events going on in your area, so please Submit a Rally or Event so we can share it with your fellow riders, and if you’re aware of any bike night locations we don’t yet have listed, please use our Submit a Bike Night link to let us know.

Debbi Allen “Toto” Injured in Motorcycle Accident - As many of you already know, fellow Cycle Connections photojournalist and Khrome Cowgirls of KC member Debbi Allen, better known as “Toto,” was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, June 9, 2007, while on her way home from a local charity ride. She was taken by Life Flight helicopter to KU Medical Center in Kansas City, where she remains in intensive care. I recently visited Toto in the hospital and talked with her husband Danny, who told me she has made a lot of progress over the past few days, and we ask everyone to please keep Toto in your thoughts and prayers as she continues down the road to recovery. Between all of her family, friends and fellow Khrome Cowgirl members, Toto has the best support team anyone could ever ask for, which I’m sure will aid in her recovery. A recovery fund has also been set up for Toto, and a Care Page has also been set up so you can follow her progress.
