Spring is in the air…or at least it sure seems like it from the 60+ degree temperatures we’ve had over the past couple of days. We’re not out of the woods yet; however, this unseasonably warm weather is a lot better than the snow and ice Mother Nature dumped on us just a few days ago.
Besides, Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow on Groundhog Day this year, so we should have any early spring…right? Nothing against the world famous groundhog, but my way of predicting an early spring is when I see all the motorcycles coming out of hibernation and hitting the streets. Therefore, I suggest we officially change Groundhog Day to Biker Day, and if a biker sees his shadow, we’re in for six more weeks of winter. So wadda ya think?
The Cycle Connections crew has been very busy working our booth at all the local bike shows this winter, which has been a great opportunity to visit with many of our readers who we don’t get to see quite as often when the riding weather turns sour.
We’ve also been busy updating our Local Rallies & Events page and US Rally & Event Locator page to help keep you informed on all the local and national rides, rallies, and events that are coming up, and, as you know, we rely on you to let us know about all the events going on in your area, so please Submit a Rally or Event so we can share it with your fellow riders.
