It's hard to believe our October 2005 issue marked Cycle Connections' two-year anniversary. It seems like only yesterday we published our first issue and I remember how excited we were to have 4,178 readers our very first month!
One year later, our October 2004 issue attracted 16,883 readers, and another 12 months down the road, our October 2005 issue was read by a whopping 56,419 readers. Because of loyal readers like you, we look forward to another great year in 2006!
Starting December 1, our online Reader's Choice -- Best of Kansas City 2005 and Reader's Choice -- Best of Birmingham 2005 opinion poll will enable you to vote for your favorite bike night location, biker-friendly bar, charity ride/event, club/organization, painter, rider training facility, tattoo artist, bike builder, bike shop, Harley-Davidson dealer, Honda dealer, Kawasaki dealer, Suzuki dealer, and Yamaha Dealer. Results will be announced in our January 2006 issue.
On Saturday, November 26, Santa will be at Gail's Harley-Davidson in Grandview with The American Bikers Relief Fund, and on Saturday, December 3, the American Bikers Relief Fund 2nd Annual Christmas Drive will be held at F.O.G. Cycles/Knucklehead's Saloon in Kansas City, Missouri.
Even though it's a bit nippy outside, there are still plenty of great things going on in the Kansas City area and in your neck of the woods, so make sure to check it out!
As you know, we rely on you to let us know what rides, rallies and events are going on in your area, so please make sure to Submit a Rally or Event so we can share this information with your fellow bikers.
