Memorial Weekend B.A.C.A. Fundraiser - Springdale, Arkansas

Six years ago a group of biker friends from Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas met for a weekend of riding around Springdale, AR and decided to have a bikini bike wash and a little ride-in bike show with donations to go to B.A.C.A. Ryan Consolver who had grown up in the Union Star and Savannah, Missouri, area lost his life at the age of 24 in a tragic motorcycle accident on August 11, 2002. Each year since, Ryan’s family has celebrated his life and kept his memory alive by hosting a motorcycle ride on a Saturday close to Ryan’s June 10 birthday. This year’s ride was on June 4. Bikers and Rockers Rockin’ Relief Rally - Trussville, Alabama

On Saturday, May 28, 2011, Rider’s Harley-Davidson in Trussville played host to one of the many fundraising events going on around the state to help the thousands of people affected by the April tornados that tore through Alabama. Since many of the local bands had come together along with the bikers to put on this event, it was deemed the Bikers & Rockers, Rockin’ Relief Rally. Boogie Bottoms Summer Rally was held on June 2-5 in Locust Fort, Alabama on the Warrior River. We lovingly refer to it as one of the “naked rallies,” because that is how most people are all weekend long. Nothing wrong with that! 20th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show - Kansas City, Missouri

The 20th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show was held on Sunday, June 5 at the Downtown Kansas City Airport, which is the perfect venue for one of the finest exhibits of vintage motorcycles you’ll ever see. Starting around 8 a.m. there was a continuous flow of motorcycles rolling into the Airline History Museum hanger. Saturday June 4, 2011, the ABATE For Missouri KC Northland Chapter hosted its Third Annual Bike Rally at Stables Grill in Kearney, Missouri, which turned out to be an extremely fun way to spend the day. ABATE for Missouri is a state motorcyclist's rights organization (SMRO) composed of motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the state. Putting motorcycle legislation in its proper perspective is the main objective.
