The Inaugural Run for Autism Awareness was held in Visalia, California on April 6, 2014. Diane Tanner and Judy Falcone organized the event, which was a poker run too. The run started and ended at Visalia Harley-Davidson.

Augusta, Georgia - March 15, Augusta H-D hosted the 12th Annual Kelsi Long Memorial Ride. Then at ten am, 300-plus bikers hopped on their hogs and revved up their engines and helped to raise more than $6000 for the Medical College of Georgia's Children's Medical Center.

5th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show - Lawrence, Kansas

This year’s vintage motorcycle show took place on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Building 21 of the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, Kansas. I’ve come to the conclusion that for some reason, the Santa Fe Trail Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America really likes holding their bike shows on Superbowl Sunday.

Valley Cycle Association (VCA) held its 2013 “Bringing Christmas Home” run on Sunday, December 22, 2013.75+ Riders from VCA, 5 Diamonds MC, 99 Saints MC, Central Valley Riders MC, Street Royalty MC, and Kinfolk MC participated in the run. 16th Annual Veterans Ride - Grandview, Missouri

Every year around Veterans Day, Tom Allen, a long-time Gail’s Harley-Davidson employee and a Vietnam vet, leads a ride to honor military veterans. This year’s ride was on Saturday, November 9, an absolutely beautiful Fall day. The 180 or so participating motorcycles were staged in the lot behind the dealership. 25th Annual Toys for Tots Ride - Rawhide Harley-Davidson - Olathe, Kansas

In spite of temperatures in the forties, Kansas City area bikers mounted up, loaded toys on their scoots, and headed for Rawhide Harley-Davidson in Olathe, Kansas. The date was November 3, and the occasion was the 25th Annual Toys for Tots Ride. Members of the Central Midwest H.O.G. Chapter were on hand to direct parking and assist with registration. 12th Annual 9-11 Tribute Rally and Ride - Grandview, Missouri

On September 7, thousands of motorcyclists gathered at Gail’s Harley-Davidson in Grandview-Missouri to honor the memory of the 9-11 victims and to show appreciation for veterans, those currently in military service, and people who work in law enforcement and emergency services. The day began with free biscuits & gravy. There were activities for the children and various displays to see including first responder vehicles, antique military vehicles, police cars and motorcycles, General Tommy Franks Traveling Museum, and dozens of vendor booths.

2013 Heartland Police Motorcycle Challenge - Independence, Missouri

Trans-Labrador Highway

Tom and I arrive at Baie-Comeau Canada located on the Fleuve St. Laurent (St. Lawrence Seaway) in late afternoon, mid-June 2013, where we were to meet up with Dave and Blair to ride the Trans-Labrador Highway. This highway is roughly 1000 miles of a combination of new asphalt to potholed gravel and everything in between. It is in the process of being all paved so this will be one of the last years in its current rough state.
