Blue Springs Harley-Davidson was the location for our second cover bike & cover model search of the riding season, which took place on Thursday, August 14, 2014, and coincided with their monthly bike night.

Our September 2014 cover model is Alicia from Kearney, Missouri. She is a bartender at the Redfront Bar, and her hobbies include boats, bikes, beer, and beaches. Turn-ons are boys with toys! On the flip-side, Alicia said baby talk by anyone, EVER, is a big turnoff for her. She also admitted that she’s a sucker for a road trip. Alicia told us the smartest thing she’s ever done is getting divorced. She also told us the most stupid thing she’s ever done was getting married in the first place. She describes her personality fun! Alicia has been told that her best attribute is her smartass attitude.

Our September 2014 cover bike is owned by Dick Carlson from Kansas City, Missouri. We had the opportunity to gather more information about Dick and his 2014 Indian Chief Classic, and we were also able to gather information from this month’s cover model Alicia.

Our September 2014 cover bike is owned by Dick Carlson from Kansas City, Missouri. Dick purchased his bike at Indian Motorcycle Kansas City, and this motorcycle is the perfect example of when old school styling meets modern-day technology. Like most motorcycle enthusiasts (at least those who have been around long enough to appreciate its heritage), I have a deep respect for the Indian motorcycle brand, which dates back to 1901, before Harley-Davidson, before Orville and Wilber took to the sky, and before Henry Ford put America behind the wheel. And to make things even better, this month’s cover model Alicia did an awesome job showcasing the fine lines of this 2014 Indian Chief Classic.

Alter Ego North

Alter Ego Cycle started out with a 18 year old with a dream of having a motorcycle shop. So in 1973 he bought a box of motorcycle parts and rented a 800 sq. ft. building in Smithville, Missouri. In only 2 years the store had outgrown its space.

SLINGER, WIS. (July 28, 2014) - The last known Harley-Davidson Forecar in existence, affectionately named "Walter," is on tour making impromptu appearances in his birthplace of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  This very rare 1913 motorcycle has been delighting motorcycle enthusiasts with its arrivals at motorcycle events and generating the question from fans of "Where's Walter?" and "where will he turn up next?"

For this month's issue, we invite you to take a look behind the Scenes at our August 2014 Cover Shoot video, which follows cover model Amber through her photo shoot and interview.
