Written by  May 1, 2014

The Patriot Guard Riders were invited to assist with the Army Arena Bowl that was held on April 4h, 2014 at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California.

The Patriot Guard Riders escorted the cheerleaders into the stadium on their motorcycles, which the crowed seemed to love. A huge round of applause was given when the Patriot Guard Riders revved up their motorcycles as the got ready to exit the arena.

The Army Arena Bowl is a High School Senior All-Star Game, which is played on an Arena Football Field and uses Arena Football Rules. The seniors adapted well to the Arena rules and gave the crowd an exciting game to watch.

The U.S. Army sponsored the game, and many soldiers were present to answer military questions. Games were available for the kids to play, and the Army Special Operations truck and trailer was on display for spectators to view.

During the halftime intermission, several new soldiers were sworn in. They took the Oath of Enlistment in the center of the arena and received a huge round of applause at the end of the Oath.

It was Army Black vs Army Gold, and the Army Black side won the game 60-33.

I’m sure this will be an experience the all-stars won’t forget for a Long time.
