Bike Night at The Bar - Lee's Summit, Missouri

Written by  July 1, 2013

The Bar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri is one of the most fun and fastest growing bike nights on the east side of town. Conveniently located at 428 SW Ward Rd in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, The Bar has one of the largest parking lots of any bike night location he Kansas City area.

Owners Rich and Dana are bikers themselves, and know how to run a nice bar and certainly know how to put on a great bike night every Thursday night during riding season, which is sponsored by Gail’s Harley-Davidson this year. On bike night you can get $2 draws and PBR cans, great food and they normally have live music!

The Bar has been one of our favorite locations for hosting our ever popular cover bike & cover model search events that we put on at various locations throughout the year. Our first cover bike & cover model search at the Bar this year will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013, and we’ll also be doing another one this fall on Saturday, September 7, 2013.

Eric and I rode down to The Bar on Thursday, June 6, and the parking lot was already filling up, and a band was just getting ready to start playing. While we were there, we ran into several friends who we haven’t seen since the riding season ended last fall, including Kickstand, the owner of Hellraisers Fabrication and his girlfriend Zippy, who is now riding her own Harley-Davidson, which she helped build.

Bike night was a blast as usual, and I want to thank Rich, Dana, and the entire crew at The Bar for putting on another great bike night!
