Hot Rods & Harleys Cruise Night at Knuckleheads Saloon

Written by  April 30, 2004

The weather did not cooperate on Friday night, April 9th for the kickoff of Hot Rods & Harley's Cruise Night. Temperatures dipped into the 40’s and the large crowd that attended did so in cages. There were approximately a dozen bikes and five hot rods to show off. The cool weather did not keep the bikers away from Knucklehead Saloon where Rich Berry jammed away at the blues.

Friday, April 16th was a different story, with the highs in the 80s during the day and perfect riding weather at 6 p.m. when the crowd started arriving. The street was lined with bikes and several more hot rods showed up. It looks like it’s going to take a few weeks for word to get out on the hot rods being a part of Cruise Night. The tunes of Rich Berry were outside that night and everyone was having a great time, with some meeting for the first time since riding season ended in October.

Not anticipating such a large crowd the waiting time for food orders reached over an hour long. Some left on their bikes to eat elsewhere then returned for the entertainment. This is the place to be on Fridays! Knuckleheads Saloon also has a Saturday Jam session that goes from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and lunch is served.

Below are photos of a few hot rods, and the black Grand National is owned by J.P. Pace.
