I hadn’t been to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Bikers, Blues, & BBQ motorcycle rally (BBB) for several years, so when I found out our good friend Mark Kozak was planning to drive his motorhome down and pull a trailer with a few of his bikes in it, I decided we were way overdue for hitting this rally once again. Nichole and Stripe had never been to Fayetteville before, and JO was excited to go again. Our friend Cajun, his daughter Stephanie, and her boyfriend Rob were also planning to attend this year, so it had the makings for a very fun weekend!

For this month's issue, we invite you to take a look behind the scenes at our September 2017 Cover Shoot video, which follows cover model Kate through her photo shoot and interview. 1925 Indian Prince

Our September 2017 cover bike is a 1925 Indian Prince, which is owned by Mark Kozak from Kansas City, Missouri. As I’m sure you know by now, we’ve always enjoyed featuring vintage motorcycles in our magazine, and this beauty is no exception.

Our September 2017 cover model is Kate, from Raytown, Missouri. Her ambitions include becoming a flight attendant and traveling the world! Kate’s hobbies include yoga, pole work, and sports, including volleyball. When it comes to turn-ons, she said “A nice smile, someone who can make me laugh, and someone tall and adventurous!” On the flipside she told us, “Someone who is lazy, has bad breath, and is shallow and too sensitive” is a major turnoff. Kate also admits she’s a sucker for “A guy who can sing or play any instrument.” She describes her personality as “Sweet, outgoing, adventurous, and ambitious.” Kate has also been told that her best attribute is her legs and her long hair.

Since we were unable to ride up with the group last year, I was really looking forward to this year’s road trip to the 77th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Oil change…check, everything packed…check (at least I think so), house sitter arranged…check, OK…time to get the hell out of Dodge…or rather Blue Springs!
