October Covers Flashback!

For this month's issue, we decided to do something a little different for a change. Rather than shooting an October 2017 cover, we thought it would be fun to display a flashback of our October covers over the past 10 years; many of which are custom bikes that tie in with a Halloween-type theme (i.e. they're orange or red). We hope you enjoy the ride down memory lane! In this month's issue, also make sure to check out our coverage of the 2017 Sturgis Races and the 2017 Bikes, Blues & BBQ Rally in Fayetteville, Arkansas!

Our August 2017 cover bike is a 1958 Harley-Davidson FL Duo-Glide, which is owned by Derek Melhorn, and this month's cover model is Lulu from Topeka, Kansas.

My name is Peter Ström and I am 54 years old from Stockholm, Sweden. I have a few bike-builds behind me – I built my wife’s FXR trike, a Sportster Chopper for myself, and a Sportster bobber with a lot of engraving on it for my daughter. Every one of them has been well-appreciated and written about in a big number of magazines around the world.

Our July 2017 cover bike is a 2001 Harley-Davidson Heritage Springer, which is owned by Mark Kozak, and this month's cover model is Christina from Greenwood, Missouri.

Our June 2017 cover bike is a 1996 Harley-Davidson Softail, whose owner Jeff "Polock" Zielinski has nicknamed "Orange Peeler," and this month's cover model is Angela from Independence, Missouri.

What could be more challenging than taking a bunch of brave/slightly unhinged men and women, blindfolding them, leading them into the Sahara desert in Morocco and telling them they have to get to a destination on the Atlantic Coast, 1000km away, six days later on tiny motorbikes more suitable for children than adults? How about taking them and their bikes to Peru?

Our May 2017 cover bike is a 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, whose owner Eddie Homfeld has nicknamed "Mistress," and this month's cover model is Rachael from Kansas City, Kansas.
