For this month's cover shoot, we invite you to take a look at our Behind the Scenes at our October 2012 Cycle Connections Cover Shoot video, which follows our October 2012 cover model Michelle through her entire photo shoot.

Gail’s Harley-Davidson in Grandview, Missouri was the location for our fourth cover bike & cover model search of the year, which took place on Thursday, September 19, 2012, which coincided with their weekly Feel the Power Happy Hour, that includes free wings and beer, a bikini bike wash by the KC Knockouts, and lot of other fun activities.

The final event of a three part series entitled Biker Diva Motorcycle 101 was held on Thursday evening, September 6, 2012 at Shawnee Cycle Plaza. The free seminars cater towards women riders, and encourage attendees to “Get in touch with your inner Biker Diva!”

Although there are several great motorcycle events in the KC area each year, when it comes to good old-fashioned fun, nothing can beat a gathering of bikers in someone’s backyard, which is why the annual Mule Run that’s put on by Brother’s Word is one of my favorite local events.

Our October 2012 cover bike is owned by Timothy Bivens, and his 2005 Big Bear Venom ProStreet was selected as the winning bikes at our Cover Bike Search at the Brass Rail in Kansas City, Missouri.

A few weeks before heading to Sturgis each year, I start getting that exciting tingle in my stomach, which is an indication that it’s time to ride north. On Thursday evening, August 2, 2012, Shawnee Cycle Plaza presented the second of a three part series entitled Biker Diva Motorcycle 101. The free seminars cater towards women riders, and encourage attendees to “Get in touch with your inner Biker Diva!”

Our September 2012 cover bike is owned by Robert Vasquez from Stilwell, Kansas. His 2004 Custom Buell Streetfighter was selected as one of the winning bikes at our Cover Bike Search at the The Bar in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. We photographed cover model search winner Nicole, on his bike for this month’s cover.

Saturday, August 18 was a beautiful day to help save animals, and Knucklehead’s Saloon was the perfect location for such an event. We’d been helping promote the 3rd Annual Outlaws for Paws Benefit Event for several months, which was all put together by Brooke Turner and her non-profit organization; Brookelyn’s Bombshells, Inc.

The Brass Rail in Kansas City, Missouri was the location for our third cover bike & cover model search of the year, which took place on Sunday, July 15, 2012, which coincided with their weekly Sunday Biker Brunch.
