Q & A
CC: When did you start customizing your Sportster?
Jim: I bought it new in 2001 and started on it right away.
CC: Is it finished?
Jim: I haven't done much to it since the wide rear end about a year agao, but you never want to say you're done.
CC: What do you have in mind for your next project?
Jim: Probably an older Sportster with old school styling. I have a gold plating machine, and I'd like to use a lot of gold on the next one. I have the plan. I just need the money.

CC: I heard that. If the next one turns out as cool as this one, you'll have to build a bigger trophy room onto your house!

Note: Jim already has a trophy room that is bursting at the seams. His most recent Best in Show was at the All American Motorcycle Show at Kansas City's 2007 World of Wheels.
