Our December 2015 cover bike is owned by Tattoo from Kansas City, Missouri. We had the opportunity to gather more information about Tattoo and his 2003 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic. We also gathered more information from this month’s cover model Michelle, and took lots of great photos of her on Tattoo's bike. Also, make sure to check out the Behind the Scenes photos and video from our December 2015 cover shoot, which we're sure you'll enjoy!

CC: Tattoo, what is your occupation?
Tattoo: I’m an insurance associate.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Tattoo: Yes, I also enjoy traveling, biker parties, and playing pool.

CC: Why do you ride?
Tattoo: I find it relaxing, and to hang out with friends.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Tattoo: 25 years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Tattoo: My first bike was a Honda 400 Nighthawk.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Tattoo: I’ve owned seven bikes.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Tattoo: One. My ’03 Road King.

CC: What do you like most about your Road King?
Tattoo: The custom items I have on it.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Tattoo: Mine, because it’s badass!

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Tattoo: Riding around Oahu, Hawaii looking at the ocean and mountains.

CC: To which motorcycle clubs and organizations do you belong?
Tattoo: None, I’m independent.

CC: Which motorcycle rallies & events have you attended, which is your favorite?
Tattoo: I went to Sturgis in ’05 and ’13, the Mule Run, the ABATE Rally at Lake Perry, and I’ve been to Algona, Iowa many times. I like Algona most, because of the great crowd, good bands, and the best “girly” show.

CC: Do you have a favorite bike night hangout?
Tattoo: Any bar we’re at.

CC: Tell us about your tattoos, and which is your favorite:
Tattoo: I have a lot. They cover my arms and legs, and my favorite is the Grateful Dead tat on my arm, because it reminds me of the shows.

CC: Do you have a favorite tattoo artist?
Tattoo: Yes, Paul Booth, who is the owner of Last Rites in NYC. He does great dark work.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Tattoo: I like hangin’ with people.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Tattoo: Anyone and everyone, but my buddies Ike and Ray rode down to the photo shoot with me today, even though the temp was only in the 40s.

CC: Thanks for the interview Tattoo, and thank you for letting us shoot your bike for this month’s cover.
