Our May 2011 cover bike is owned by Jason Williamson from Lee’s Summit, Missouri. A few weeks ago, Chris Cofield with CC Custom Graphics called to tell me he had just finished painting a beautiful Street Glide that I may be interested in shooting for our cover. As it turned out, the bike was owned by Jason Williamson with Worth Harley-Davidson. I contacted Jason, and he was more than happy to ride his bike out to our photo shoot. During our shoot I took the opportunity to ask Jason a few questions for his bio in this month’s issue.
CC: Jason, what is your occupation?
Jason: I’m the General Sales Manager at Worth Harley-Davidson.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Jason: Yes, I also enjoy golfing and hunting.

CC: Why do you ride?
Jason: I’m fortunate enough that it’s not just a hobby; it’s my job. There is no other experience like riding. You feel things and smell things that you don’t hear and feel in a car. The way gas prices are, that doesn’t hurt either.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Jason: I’ve been riding since 1991, and bought my first Harley in 1998.

CC: What was your first bike?
Jason: My first bike was a 1989 Yamaha Virago, and in 1998 I bought a Harley-Davidson Super Glide.

CC: How many bikes have you owned?
Jason: Five.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Jason: The one you see here.

CC: What do you like most about your Street Glide?
Jason: The paint. It’s what I’ve always wanted.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Jason:This bike has taken four years and thousands of dollars, but is really where I want it.

CC: What is your least memorable riding experience?
Jason: In September 1998 I laid my brand new Super Glide down the first day I owned it. The worst thing though was that I had full coverage on a car I had insurance on until Monday, but I was wrong.

CC: To what motorcycle clubs or organizations do you belong?
Jason: H.O.G.

CC: Which motorcycle rallies and events have you attended, and which is your favorite?
Jason: Sturgis, Bikes, Blues & BBQ, Thunder Run, and Bikers for Babies. My favorites are the Thunder Run and Bikers for Babies. They were both great fun and were for a great cause.

CC: Which is your favorite bike night location?
Jason: Worth Harley-Davidson of course. Where else can you go to get your bike serviced if ya want, get a new one if ya want, hear bands like Jackyl, Saving Able, and Saliva…all for free!

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Jason: I enjoy both.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Jason: My Sales Manager James Wunderlich and my sales team.

CC: Thanks for the interview Jason, and thanks for letting us shoot your bike for this month's cover.
