Full Throttle Saloon TV Series Premier - Kansas City, Missouri

Jesse James Dupree, Angie, Michael Ballard & Johnny Dare
On Tuesday evening November 10, my girlfriend Nichole and I, along with our good friends Miles and Lori Adcock, had a unique opportunity to join Johnny Dare and several of his 98.9 The Rock listeners for an invitation-only event at Angels Rock Bar in the Kansas City Power & Light District to kick off the season premiere of the new reality TV series Full Throttle Saloon.

We visit the Full Throttle Saloon (FTS) several times each year during the Sturgis Rally, so I was excited to hang out with friends and watch the show on Angels' huge TV screen, which takes up an entire wall of the bar. The highlight of the evening, however, was being able to mingle with the stars of the show right here in Kansas City! Yes, that's right. Guests of honor that evening included Michael Ballard, owner of the FTS, his girlfriend and marketing director Angie Carlson and of Angieland fame, and Jesse James Dupree lead singer of the popular rock band Jackyl. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear the distinctive voice of Kansas City's very own radio personality Johnny Dare as he provided the voiceover for several segments throughout the show.

Full Throttle Saloon airs every Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. Central from November 10 through December 15 on TruTV and centers around Michael Ballard for a behind the scenes look at what it takes to run the worlds largest biker bar during the annual Sturgis Rally. With the bar being open only during the rally, Michael and his crew of roughly 300 temporary employees, including 100 smokin' hot bartenders, have only nine days to generate enough revenue to carry the FTS through the rest of the year until the next rally.

As you could imagine, when 700,000+ bikers descend upon this small South Dakota town, things can get a little crazy. I'm so proud to be working with the Tru Network, says Ballard. It's been a long time coming. Jesse Dupree and I have worked day and night to land a show for the last seven years. We both knew I had built something golden, and Jesse had seen it the first time he played the Full Throttle Saloon. I have put everything on the line multiple times to keep growing the Full Throttle Saloon brand. I've rolled the dice every year, and I've been lucky so far - but you never know what tomorrow will bring.'

The show also spotlights other FTS celebrities such as Angie Carlson and Goat Boy. I'm ready for everyone to see what it's like to run the world's largest biker bar, Full Throttle Saloon, adds Ballard. I would like to give you something to compare it to but it doesn't exist. With that being said you will have to tune into TruTV and watch the series. My hat's off to TruTV for having the foresight to film the Full Throttle Saloon in action, and bringing us into your living room or bedroom.'

The show is very exciting and packed full of things you won't see on other Sturgis documentaries. I haven't missed an episode yet, so make sure to tune in and check it out for yourself!
