The 2008 Big Bear Choppers Fleet

G.T.X.
This is an industry revolutionizing motorcycle. The G.T.X. (Grand Touring X-Wedge) is a stretched ProStreet mutant of a bagger type motorcycle, and we consider it a weekend getaway vehicle. One of the proprietary and unique characteristics is the position of the passenger sitting in front of the rear wheel. This seating position places more weight in the center of the vehicle to produce better handling and comfort for both the operator and passenger. Other key features include an additional auxiliary fuel tank located under the seat, totaling 5 gallons. A large capacity oil tank feeds the new efficient and powerful EFI X-Wedge engine from S&S. The large volume fiberglass storage bags are purposefully designed with the motorcycle, making the bags a central aspect of the overall vehicle design. Its innovative downtube fiberglass 3D molded cover not only completes the motorcycle’s front lines, but it also acts to hide the less desirable clutch cable. The G.T.X.’s wow factor comes from the seamless, flowing bodywork from end to end, stepping outside the traditional realms of motorcycle design and into the next generation of motorcycle design. This new motorcycle represents just a small part of the new innovations and industry leading design that is coming out of our heads that is not only sellable in the market of today, but will be in high demand by the new demographic of consumer for the future. Cool is cool. And cool will never die. And we just made a bagger cool.

Paradox
It’s a paradox to think that a highly artful motorcycle can perform so well, be so comfortable and so reliable. It’s usually a contradiction in the motorcycle world. We do not believe in compromising. We call it Paradox. It’s the first production motorcycle to roll with the new large diameter wheels, a 23 inch front and 20” rear. The Paradox holds an innovative downtube fiberglass 3D molded cover that not only completes the motorcycle’s front aesthetic lines, but it also acts to hide the less desirable clutch cable. The oil tank is the signature large capacity unit but with unique concave molding design work. Both front and rear fenders feature a subtle and elegant ridge that fads away at the halfway point. The motorcycle’s exclusive swingarm design comes with an inventive stylistic cover, hiding the tubular frame structure, axle adjusters and brake line. The Paradox is powered by the famous 100 SMOOTH™ with an EFI option, or even better, the new 114” S&S X-Wedge EFI engine. The Paradox is harmony of elegance and strength. An American motorcycle, redefined.

Athena ProStreet
Our Athena ProStreet’s striking stance comes from the lowered frontend with a sunken seat, making her sleek and slammed. This long and low machine handles remarkably well because of her low center of gravity and balanced ergonomics. The sunken seat allows you to be positioned inside the chassis, adding to the unique sensation of riding low to the ground. The hot rod hole drilled outer skins on the stretched patented frame, her Devil’s Tail swingarm with matching rear fender and the artistically created fuel tank are some of the unique characteristics of the Athena ProStreet that gives her a head-turning, custom one-off impression, but with the reliability and ridability of an extensive engineered production motorcycle. The 100 SMOOTH™ low vibration powerplant adds to the reliability of the motorcycle with a high comfort level of the rider without sacrificing power and price. The Athena ProStreet is a unique fusion of power, elegance and comfort that pushes the boundaries of riding pleasure. Unlike everything else out there, it’s unlike everything that’s out there.

Athena Chopper
A price tag in the low 30s with the looks of a 60 thousand dollar custom motorcycle is sure to cause some confusion with our Athena Chopper. It's a hand massaged, forward thinking design designed and built on the Discovery Channel Biker Build-Off televised competition. It was great winning the competition, but it didn’t stop there... we 'tooled up' the innovative design and turned the famous one-off Chopper into production along with a ProStreet sibling. An industrial hot rod drilled holes in the patented stretched frame with the patented Devil’s Tail swingarm with rear fender to match and an exclusive fuel tank are some of the design features that make the Athena Chopper an encounter you’ll never forget. The Athena Chopper is for the detail conscious customer with a bigger budget that wants a one-off looking, premium production motorcycle. The sunken seat allows you to be positioned inside the chassis, adding to the unique sensation of riding low to the ground. The 100 SMOOTH™ low vibration powerplant adds to the reliability of the motorcycle with a high comfort level of the rider without sacrificing power and price. So you can have your cake and eat it, too.

The Sled ProStreet
Our Sled ProStreet is the new style drop seat, long and low two wheeled lead sled machine that has become the most happen’in production bike in the industry today. This slammed hot rod is the choice for any motorcycle enthusiast who wants the most impressionable motorcycle for the money. The Sled's ingenious drop seat stretched frame makes for a motorcycle that feels and handles unbelievably balanced and a blast to ride. The sunken seat allows the rider to be positioned inside the chassis, boasting more control and adding to the unique sensation of riding low to the ground. Our own exclusive 100 SMOOTH™ engine produces an adrenaline provoking 112 pounds of brawn torque... we’re talking buckets of adrenaline. The Sled ProStreet is loaded with patented chassis design features, including the large capacity oil tank with a unique contour fuel tank and stretched frame and swingarm designs to help protect your Sled from being copied by the other guys. The Sled ProStreet a perfect blend of design, ride comfort, reliability and price. We’ve created form and function to coexist.

The Sled Chopper
Our Sled Chopper is the new generation of an American chopper with its cutting edge drop seat stretched frame, huge 300 rear tire and an innovative fuel tank. We designed this scooter for the customer that wants a chopper style motorcycle with creative, smooth lines at a reasonable price tag. A 6 inch stretched radius dual downtubes with a low rider rear end gives her a dramatic sinking and flowing profile. Standard components include the proprietary low vibration 100 SMOOTH™ polished engine in front of a Baker 6-speed overdrive transmission, exclusive primary drive, chrome frontend and controls, and so on. Our Sled Chopper handles remarkably well considering its wheelbase. After you’ve clocked 500 miles for the day from the highways, weaving through traffic and maneuvering in parking lots, you’ll forget you just got off a nine and a half foot long motorcycle. Take a seat, start the engine and feel the excitement course through your veins.

The Devil’s Advocate ProStreet
We designed the Devil’s Advocate ProStreet for the customer that wants a motorcycle that looks fast and fun while resting on its kickstand, but more importantly desires performance handling as well. No problem, this is the most agile handling motorcycle among its Big Bear Brothers. If you want to mix a wide tire drag style motorcycle with the looks of a hand built custom motorcycle… you will no doubt dig this bike. Both the front and rear fenders finish off the motorcycle’s crafted metal with a point, and with the large capacity fuel tank stretching to a point and merging into the seat, this ProStreet one of the smoothest flowing machines in our fleet. It’s got intense power and athletic elegance. With the muscular 112 pounds of authoritative torque at the twist of your wrist, riding within the speed limit may be the hardest thing about owning the Devil’s Advocate ProStreet. Adrenalin rushes come as standard.

The Devil’s Advocate Chopper
The Devil’s Advocate Chopper has proven itself in the American big-twin market with its great handling, style, reliability and high-end components. It’s got a 6inch stretched single radius downtube to give it a chopper stance. The Devil’s Advocate Chopper is perfect for if you’re looking for a wide tire, chopper-style motorcycle with incredibly clean lines at an affordable price. Standard components include the proprietary low vibration 100 SMOOTH™ polished engine in front of a Baker 6-speed overdrive transmission, exclusive primary drive, chrome frontend and controls, and so on. This chopper handles remarkably well due to our extensive R&D. Our frame and frontend calculations are 'to-the-tee' with the final trail measurement, resulting in no frontend flop or high speed wobble. The Devil’s Advocate Chopper was designed to feel good in the saddle from here to Sturgis and back. So you can have your style and ride it, too.

The Venom ProStreet
Stylish and clean, The Venom ProStreet was launched in 2002, and immediately became our cornerstone model for years after. We designed this motorcycle for the rider that wants a methodically designed motorcycle that’s as easy to ride as she is to look at. The large diameter single radius downtube and the famous arched Venom swingarm was designed and introduced on this model, giving it a distinctive character and trademark design for the Big Bear Choppers brand. She has a lower than standard seat height and pullback handlebars making her comfortable for most types of riders. The compact design makes her easy to handle but her raked out neck stands her out in a crowd. Standard components include the proprietary low vibration 100 SMOOTH™ polished engine in front of a Baker 6-speed overdrive transmission, exclusive primary drive, chrome frontend and controls, and so on. So how does our Venom ProStreet deliver so many high-end features at such an affordable price? Thanks for asking… just beautifully.

The Venom Chopper
Along side its ProStreet sibling, the Venom Chopper has been the flagship model for Big Bear Choppers for many years, and there’s reasons for that. This motorcycle boasts an American chopper attitude with simple, flowing lines. The power in this chopper is in the artistic, seamless design, nothing under or over stated. Her 6inch stretched single radius downtube, large capacity tear drop fuel tank, lower than standard seat height and pull back handlebars gives the Venom a traditional chopper stance at a high comfort level. She also carries the patented arched Venom swingarm that we are famous for, adding to the Venom’s distinct look and character. Not needing to keep up with the rear tire size race, the 250 rear tire is big enough to accomplish the look and feel of this chopper. The Venom Chopper is a motorcycle you can handle. At a price you can handle.

Reaper Chopper
This beautiful beast is the firstborn among its brothers that launched the Big Bear Choppers brand of motorcycles in 2002. This ambitious motorcycle is built around the 250mm wide tire with a rigid appearance. If you’re in the market for a tough, traditional all American modernistic chopper with today’s technology, look no further. The spider web theme throughout the Reaper adds to the rebellious demeanor of its presence. This chopper handles remarkably well due to our extensive R&D. Our frame and frontend calculations are 'to-the-tee' with the final trail measurement, resulting in no frontend flop or high speed wobble. With the Reaper’s lower than standard seat height and pullback handlebars, this mad mechanical pony can be tamed by riders ranging from 5 foot 6 to 6 foot 3 with easy success. Standard components include the proprietary low vibration 100 SMOOTH™ polished engine in front of a Baker 6-speed overdrive transmission, exclusive primary drive, chrome frontend and controls, and it keeps going. The Reaper… it’s an all American rebel machine. Be as powerful as you can be.

The Merc Softail
Want the same mean and nasty look of the Merc Rigid, but still need your kidneys? Then the Merc Softail is the ride for you. Thanks to the rear suspension, this mad Merc allows you to still make a bold statement on the road while experiencing a much smoother ride than its hard brother. The exaggerated extended springer is liberally responsible for making this chopper very impressive in the parking lots and pounding the pavements. You and everybody else will be surprised how well this bike takes corners and the low speed maneuvering without taking your feet off the pegs for balance. With her radius dual downtube, a bold 48 degree neck rake, timeless spoke wheels, swooping swingarm, patented contour fuel tank and the long reaching springer frontend, this vintage inspired chopper flashes a new school flavor. The Merc’s style and elegance leaves you and everybody else breathless, its power and control on long straights and in bends will leave you yearning for more. You may want to check your pulse now.

The Merc Rigid
This bike is our most aggressive and in your face design, packed with a hard core attitude. Don’t be concerned about that 20inch over stock springer frontend, we’ve dialed in the frame and springer geometry so it feels and handles extremely well considering the wheelbase. You and everybody else will be surprised how well this bike takes the corners and its low speed maneuvering. With her radius dual downtube, a bold 48 degree neck rake, spoke wheels, swooping rear frame section, unparalleled curvaceous fuel tank and the long reaching springer, this vintage inspired rigid chopper rolls with new school technology. The Merc Rigid is perfect for the rider that wants to make a statement on the road that doesn’t mind the rigid ride. State-of-the-art technologies and pioneering design have united to create the most powerful vehicle today. Experience the ride of a born leader. Your Merc Rigid will never be forgotten.

Screamin’ Demon
The Screamin Demon is our version of a fifties 'Bobber' style motorcycle with a Big Bear Chopper modern day avant-guarde design at a budget friendly price. With its short wheelbase, this bike takes on corners easier than the other Big Bear Buddies from the fleet. The little voice in your head will tempt you to scream down the highways and bob through traffic like a bat out of hell. Your beats per minute will race even faster. The rigid chassis features a vintage wishbone style downtube with comfort from the spring saddle, a conservative 34 degree neck rake with a small peanut fuel tank and a round oil bag. Standard components include the proprietary low vibration 100 SMOOTH™ engine in front of a Baker 5-speed transmission, exclusive primary drive, springer frontend, chrome controls, and so on. The roads go forever. The Screamin Demon will take you there. Explore this forever road and satisfy your thirst for adventure by savoring the chill and thrill of the Screamin' Demon.

Miss Behavin
The name Miss Behavin is inspired from a World War Two bomber plane nose art. It’s a part of our American history and has a Big Bear Choppers attitude about it making it a perfect name for our women’s designed motorcycle. Our Miss Behavin ProStreet is desired by women who want to ride a reliable motorcycle with a high comfort level while lookin’ good and being in style, all at the same time. While it shares the same components as our famous Venom ProStreet with the polished proprietary 100 SMOOTH™ low vibration engine, a Baker® 6-speed overdrive tranny, an exclusive primary, chrome frontend and controls with a digital gauge, the chassis is built around a smaller framed rider. Chassis configurations include a drop seat of 19” off the ground, a manageable wheelbase with a conservative 34 degree neck rake, foot and hand controls reaching towards the rider for a comfortable position, patented unique fuel tank design borrowed from the popular Sled ProStreet, patented oil tank design holding 5 quarts, 250mm rear tire with a left side final drive. Bottom line, our Miss Behavin feels and handles very nimble and balanced, promoting rider confidence in the parking lots and on the highways while the style points are not sacrificed. I am a woman rider. Hear my Big Bear Chopper roar. Miss Behavin is empowering.
