As a father of three amazing sons, I could not imagine having to cope with such devastation. That is why after receiving the information on this benefit ride I just had to attend.

Teagan’s Ride started at One Eyed Jacks at 5044 NE Parvin Rd, Kansas City, Missouri. Approximately 22 motorcycles showed up for this amazing cause. All participants took their first dice roll just before the noon kickstands up. The group mounted up and had a great ride with some perfect riding weather heading toward Richmond, Missouri down Missouri 210 Highway to the Tequila Jalisco Mexican Restaurant where all outdoor seating was reserved for the group. The riders enjoyed the food and beverages that adorned their menu while just sitting outside enjoying the beautiful fall day and feeling very grateful for the wonderful little things in life.

With bellies full and thirsts quenched, the group took their turns rolling the dice then mounted up for the 38-mile ride back to One Eyed Jacks where entertainment and adult beverages were waiting. Musical entertainment was donated by Joel, the lead singer of Bull Haulers, with his friends Jim and Paul backing him up. Around dark, before going home to their friends and family, the crowd was abuzz about the $1,400 that was raised for the day’s benefit and discussed how to make the ride bigger for the 2nd Annual Teagan’s Ride.

In summary, special THANKS has to go out to One Eyed Jacks, Paul Moore, President of the A.B.A.T.E for Missouri, Kansas City Northland Chapter, and A.B.A.T.E. member Jay Stockwell for all of their help and support, and all of the amazing people who participated in the 1st Annual Teagan’s Ride.
