Our April 2017 cover bike is a 2016 Indian Scout, which is owned by Donna Ashe from Lenexa, Kansas. Our April 2017 cover bike is owned by Donna Ashe, and we enjoyed shooting her 2016 Indian Scout for this month’s cover. Donna is from Lenexa, Kansas, and we had the opportunity to gather additional information about her and her Scout. We also enjoyed shooting cover model Amanda on Donna’s bike for this month’s cover. Amanda from Kansas City, Missouri is our April 2017 cover model. She is a bartender and cocktail waitress, and her future ambitions include being a good mother to her son. Amanda also told us her hobbies include “Riding, making drinks, crafts, and playing with my son.”

Bright and early on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, I was on the road to Lawrence, Kansas, with my buddies B.C. and Cycle Connections editor Mike. We were excited to attend the annual mid-winter bike show sponsored by the Santa Fe Trail Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. The theme for the 8th annual show was “Flatheads Rule.”
It was overcast, with a little nip in the air on Sunday morning, March 5, 2017 as around 175 bikes rolled into the parking lot at Hardee’s in Pinson, Alabama. Actually, it was in the parking lot next to Hardee’s, as Hardee’s would not have been able to hold all of us.
